Edu Passion 2019

Edu Passion What is Edu Passion?     On January the 24th of 2019 my school did this annual event called " edu passion"  (short for education). This event invited college students, universities representatives, and some alumni that have completed their studies abroad. The purpose of this event is to enable us students to gain different and variant information regarding different universities and institutes domestically and internationally. Practically, it gives us students a wider picture on different places we could go to expand our knowledge after graduating from High School. For most of the event our attention as students were mostly focused on different presentations that each faculties from some favorite universities did. The presentation was unique because it wasn't geared towards telling students general information about the faculties, it was more focused towards tips and tricks and curriculum overview of the study program that each faculties have. Aspiration Day

Aspiration day is an annual event that is held for students to deliver their thoughts on school, critics,etc. Sadly, tho I didn't attend this year's aspiration day due to problems with my scheduling. First problem is that we were told only the day before that aspiration is going to be on Friday, and I already had an appointment for my Japanese tutor.  The second problem is that I was also very tired, I know that this should not be an excused. However, before the event all students had a swimming class. For the boys, it was after the Friday prayer and the event is supposed to start at 2 so of course I was very tired, not only that the morning before that I had a jogging test. A little Trip in Singapore.

STEP SOCIOVATION FORUM REGISTRATION STORY:        Hi, so on May 11th to 16th I enrolled in this program called STEP Sociovation Forum.STEP  Sociovation Forum is a design thinking workshop divided into three topics Disability, Environment, and Ageing Society. Participant gets to experience these problems in Singapore directly with their own team in Singapore Social Science University or SUSS in short. But, before we get there let me tell you where in the world did i stumble upon this program. Way before that date I was informed by my English teacher to join this so called "workshop", she said it was fully funded (as a way to buy me in). I didn't take it seriously since when I looked at the University rank, let's just say I wasn't interested (Sorry SUSS :))) ).  I was skeptical because in Indonesia these kinds of event wouldn't be organized well if ,it isn't organized by a notorious or well known university.
